February 15, Tracking The Curls

Abby's hair looks so different, so curly, after bath time, I just had to take a photo (or 7) of it for future reference! When we wash her hair it seems so long down the back of her neck but it shrinks right up into these curls. By morning, it is flat as a pancake.

She's been a busy climber of late. Whether it be into the kid's IKEA chair, up the stairs, or onto the roller coaster track, she can always climb up but can't seem to get down without hurting herself :(

Abby's still learning how to make this toy work, but she'll get it. For now, she enjoys having someone sit with her and help her get them all up so she can push them all down!

Abby and Brad are rocking the stomach bug today. It was best for them to do things together when they were awake and stay away from us healthy folk.

February 7, The Polar Plunge

This afternoon we took the "polar plunge" when we went swimming at the indoor gym pool. Usually this water is tolerably warm but for whatever reason it was just so chilly today. Both kids and parents tolerated it for a good little while before we abandoned ship to go warm up!

Somehow, we taught Abby how to roar. It is really cute and probably the least girly thing that she does. I cannot seem to capture it on video but will keep trying.
