So glad to see Fisher-Price didn't change much with the cash register toy! The kids love playing with this at Grandma's house and we were happy to stumble upon it at the store today!

October 24, Must Be Getting Cold
The ballpit has made its way into the playroom for the winter. We'll see how long it gets to stay there. So far, so good, but it has only been a few hours :)
October 23, Halloween Party Day!
We threw our annual Halloween party with our neighbor friends on Saturday night. Getting a picture of the two of them went well, as usual :)
October 21, Scavenger Hunt Preparations
Alex was helping me sort out candy for the upcoming scavenger hunt at our Halloween party. "One, two, eat a few...".
October 20, Busted!
Last weekend Brad busted Alex scooping up leaves and throwing them over into our neighbor's yard. Alex said they didn't have enough leaves and he wanted to share. What a good kid!
October 19, Obsessed
See what I mean? She is obsessed with Toy Story! She even brought Woody and Buzz to the breakfast table with her!

Abby is currently obsessed with the movie Toy Story and "Woody" and "Buzz". She watches it at least twice a day, no joke.

Brad and Alex worked out some sort of balancing act to see if the airplane basket full of cars weighed more than the pumpkin basket full of cars. Then he showed Alex how to make them even. It was cute :)

October 7, Doing Her Homework
When Alex does his homework after school, Abby insists on coloring in her booster chair. She mostly colors on the tray, but sometimes gets the paper too.

October 1, Time To Change The Calendar
While I did tell him how to spell "October" and show him where to start, he finished the calendar all by himself! He really has learned quite a bit after just a month of Kindergarten!
